Articles, blogs, and a radio show coming too soon to blink! My name is Christine Boswell. I am 38 years old….and that is considered the new 18? Not unless I get one heck of a plastic surgeon! No, it is the new me, but without a catfish face! Here is the deal...thirty was my scary age. When I reached the magic age of 30, I realized I could not act as if I had just graduated from high school. No, my friends, I discovered that our days of lifting our faces from puddles of drool after a night of binge drinking “Jell-O” shots and trashcan punch must be tapered (although to be honest, I did not partake in this particular activity until my high school reunion). Something happened...oh yeah, s*!@ happened! Personally, I felt as if I needed to have something going on. Luckily, I had a family at this time. For you? Who knows, but I bet you might discover yourself being relatively more mature these days! Remember, there is a difference between being young at heart, enjoying all kinds of music and joking around to keep things light versus acting immature, allowing a lead singer to “hock lugees” on you, and lighting up a fart in front of company (probably not going to market yourself to well with that last one)! I am not here to judge, however, just providing you with some home-grown observations! Mostly, I cover relationship issues; stuff I have experienced during my seventeen year marriage, but the topics go everywhere! I am not a therapist or psychiatrist, just a former stand-up comic and improv player with sort a of way of “putting it.” So all you dirty 30s and older get the “DIRT” and speak up, As for all you 20-something, worldly neophytes, listen up…(and, if you feel like it, speak up!)
